There is a lot of people starting to get into currency trading to earn a second income. There has been a lot of hype about the currency trading market and lots of people starting to traded currency as a home based business. With more and more people beginning to make a lot of money with online currency trading, there are more people looking for info on automated trading systems.

The F.A.P. Turbo is a relatively new to the currency trading world and has been doing very well. The system was tested with real live trading accounts. Over a period of months before they released it to the public. Mister Leary the creator and his team of experts have been working on the software for over 5 years, and they have fine tuned every aspect of it before they released it.

Take your time and get use to the screens and the options of the F.A.P. software. I do suggest doing a demo account to start out with on this system. This will let you run the program with virtual money so you can see how to make money with out risking your own money. Then once you have the results that you want on the demo account you can then go live. This is very important you do this.

The software comes with a video tutorial section to help you setup the system and all your screens. The videos are about 5 minutes in length and are professionally done. Now that you have the system all setup your robot trading system will automatically place trades for you. The system is designed only to run when you are online. Forex is a 24/5 activity so when ever your computer is turned on you can trade. Forex has a hosting service to host your robot on a server so if you want the trades to take place even when you are offline the hosting server will let it continue to trade for you. Expert advisors will monitor the trades and open orders for you when needed.

With all the new digital formats out there, it is of little surprise that there exists considerable confusion about EDTV and HDTV. First of all, EDTV stands for Enhanced Definition Television, while HDTV stands for High Definition Television. TVs equipped with either of these formats are capable of receiving and potraying images in a digital fashion - both of which are superior in visual quality to the standard TV (SDTV).

Which is better, EDTV, or HDTV?

This is a question that comes up quite often, and it really has a simple answer: HDTV is better. However, EDTV wasn't really made to be a competitor for HDTV, but rather a transition technology that was better than standard, but not all the way High Definition, as HDTV is. And although Enhanced Definition Television (EDTV) doesn't quite offer the outstanding life-like quality attributed to High Definition Television (HDTV), its picture is actually closer to HDTV than regular television. HDTV has an impressive 720 progressive scanning (1280x720 pixels) or 1080 interlaced (1920x1090 pixels) lines. Thus, it easily meets the requirement of high definition broadcasts. EDTV, on the other hand, displays pictures at 480 progressive scan (640x480 pixels), which is the the highest resolution available on DVD. In fact, EDTV is considered optimized for the DVD format. However, this puts a severe limit on EDTV, which is simply not able to display higher resolution HD content.

Our recommendation is that, when purchasing a new TV, you consider getting one that is "HD-ready." It is likely that all broadcasts will transition over to true HDTV format within the next decade or so. Be advised, however, that you will need to purchase an external set-top box with an ATSC (Advanced Television Systems Committee) tuner in order to receive digital HDTV programming. Many cable and satellite providers, if they provide HDTV content, may offer this tuner for free. One final note, you may want to consider buying a LCD TV, as most are HDTV ready, and do the best job of displaying those beautiful HD images.

The Position Of You Web Site Or Web Page Is Dependent Of Your Link Popularity

You have a web site or a web page and you want that people go, look at them for different purposes, generally to sell something. So your site must be known and visible. Different possibilities are available for you:

1. You can use ads in the search engines where people go (example: AdWords for google). There are different ads : sponsored links, PPC (pay per click), etc... The cost is different between the search engines, the traffic societies... but it always costs as long as you keep your campaign "active".

2. You can write in different blogs, without telling directly your link. Blogs are not supposed to do your ads for you, but to be a link between people who speak on same subjects. But it can help, if you write interested things without telling all, some people can ask you more and then, up to you ...

3. But all this will not surely place your web site on a good place for a long time and be visible for specific keywords representing your web site. The main point to be well positioned is a professional job. The experts on submitting and positioning will surely do it. Of course, this place has a price, but if your web site is visible at any time somebody types the keywords or expressions keywords, the price will be nothing because you will have a lot of specific and real traffic. It will not be people who are paid to click, your visitors will come because your site comes on these keywords which represent what your site is or gives. And one of the main points of an expert's job is the link popularity.

The link popularity depends on different things : the number of in and out-going links within your site versus your competitors and the page ranks of these links. If your competitors have around 1200 links, you must have at least 1200 links. But if the majority of your links are bought to some directories. The robots of the search engines will not take care of them because they know the link addresses (URL's) of the societies who sell links by package of 100, 1000 or 10000. They have no value. Before they could have a small value by the quantity but now, this is the marketing war on internet. So the robots look at more and more things every months, and forget the sites with a big number of links if they have no added value.

What is an added value for a link?

It could be the fact it comes from another web site building on the same subject, or from web sites of education centers or governmental centers. And the popularity of the others is represented mainly by the page rank. If you only have a few links going to your web site with a high page rank, you will be more lucky than a website with 15000 links without any page rank and no specific value.

And higher is the page rank, better your website will take points for the robots. I do not say that if you succeed to get a link from a site with a page rank of 7 or 8 !!! , that your site will get a similar page rank. Not at all ! But it will be a plus, for example if you have already a page rank, even if it is zero, with a few links of page ranks of 4 and 5, you can be sure your site will upgrade.

I know, you are going to tell me : how can I get links from web sites with good page ranks or even small ones ? I will answer, this is the job of the experts in Submitting and Positioning Sites in Internet. They know which sites to look at, same theme or subject as your site, then look at the page ranks, and then obtain a link with or without a back-link. Question of expertise ! Because, a professional site is not a shop window full of links, a professional site is a site speaking on your subject, your products and your partners if your have some.

I would say that to obtain a good place, for example within the 3 first places on the first page of Google, on specific keywords, the optimization of your web site and the popularity link work are the main keys of the success and the success of the traffic for your site.

Psittacosis - 5 Ways to Lessen the Chance of Psittacosis in Your Home

Psittacosis sometimes referred to as Parrot Fever or Bird Fancier's Lung (BFL) is a disease that all species of birds are susceptible to, and one that can be passed to humans as well. Pet birds are the most frequent transmitters of the disease especially many types of Parrots. If recognized and treated early with antibiotics, the recovery rate for birds and humans is good. Here are 5 ways to go on the offensive against Psittacosis and lessen the chance of having it develop in your home.

Keep the Cage Clean--One of the ways this disease spreads is through dried dust from bird feces. Once the fecal matter starts to dry, minute pieces can become airborne with the bird's movement, your movement or even circulating air from the air conditioner or heat. Changing the paper at the bottom of the cage daily or even more frequently lessens the chance of these airborne contagions spreading and being inhaled by you, family members, and your bird.

Become Familiar with Symptoms in Birds--This is easier said than done as many birds that are infected do not present symptoms. However, the symptom that is most indicative of this condition is eye discharge. Others include diarrhea, difficulty in breathing, a drop in energy level producing drowsiness and lethargy, puffed up feathers, tremors, disinterest in food, and weight loss.  Knowing what is usual for your bird will help you spot any changes in behavior easily and allow you to take preventive steps early.

Regular Check Ups with the Veterinarian-You don't have to go it alone when trying to recognize whether a change in your bird's habits is an indication of sickness, and more specifically Psittacosis. Having an avian veterinarian that you trust is an invaluable resource to locate and use from the moment you bring your bird home. Don't be afraid to take your bird for professional observation if there is even the slightest question about your bird's health. The sooner the disease is correctly diagnosed, the better chance your bird has of surviving.  And even if it turns out to be a false alarm--better safe than sorry.

Recognize Human Symptoms--In people the symptoms are similar to the flu-headache, chills, fever, aches and pains. When seeking treatment for flu-like symptoms mention that you have a bird, and ask to be tested for Psittacosis.

Use a Purifier to Filter Your Air--Nothing can guarantee that you and your bird won't contract this disease, but given that it spreads with inhalation of dried fecal matter that is airborne, using a high efficiency particle arresting air purifier is a good way to clear the air and lessen the chance of having this disease spread in your home.

What is a UPS Battery?

There can be a power surge and outages at any time, which can cause you to lose unsaved data and important items on your computer. This can be frustrating and in some cases devastating. There are ways to protect your computer from power related disasters. All you have to do is get a UPS battery; this will be the best way to protect not only your computer but also your sanity if you use a computer quite often.

A UPS battery is a device that keeps your computer running with power in the event of a power interruption. To do this put a battery that provides power to your computer or other important electronics. When you loose power to your computer, UPS batteries will provide power to you for a short time to enable you to save the data you were working on at that time. You will usually have about fifteen to twenty minutes to complete the saving and shut down your computer properly.

If you have business documents and information on your computer, it is essential that you have one of these batteries hooked up to your computer. Not only will a UPS battery protect your computer from power outages, it will also help with power surges. Surges can harm your computer and do a lot of damage. It should make you feel better knowing a backup battery is protecting your computer.

UPS batteries are not expensive at all. They usually run anywhere from thirty to fifty dollars for a good one. You can buy these batteries almost anywhere. They are defiantly an investment to anyone who lives on their computer. It does not matter if you have business or personal information on your computer; it is worth saving with a UPS battery.

They are compact so that they will fit almost anywhere. You can have them under your desk, or on top of it. UPS batteries will plug into a normal three-prong outlet. They are reliable and safe for most home electrical systems. There is really no reason not to have a battery backup and surge protector like a UPS battery hooked up to your computer. It will be a device that you may never need to rely on, buy why take the chance? It is worth the few dollars to save your precious work.

Crowdsourcing, the Future of Labor?

Social media and digital communication has become a widely used and increasingly important part of modern day business functions. While the focus of these technologies is commonly for marketing and consumer research, it may be that many of these firms are missing out on a much more powerful form of utilization. This alternative function is the practice of crowdsourcing; using mass labor power as a means of broadening and improving the level of innovation, efficiency, and talent that exists in the workforce of a given company.

The common corporation is built upon a foundation of hierarchical relationships between employees, which often dispenses the least complicated or difficult tasks to the lowest workers. This work is often time-consuming, repetitive, and "easy" in the sense that it doesn't make use of the education or abilities of the laborers, which tends towards a great loss of productivity for the entire company. In some situations, businesses have tried to minimize the cost of "lost labor" (wage payments for unproductive work) by outsourcing to workforces that will perform the same "grunt work" for less money. This is usually done by relocating a portion of the work to the geographical location where labor costs are lowest, despite the initial expense for the relocation and continued expense of transportation (if need be, depending on the type of work being done).

However, it seems that with modern technology and advancements in global communications the relocation (and its cost) may be unnecessary. Many of the functions of businesses are becoming virtualized to a point where it is completely feasible to outsource "digital labor" to people in many different places without incurring the traditional costs of outsourcing. Additionally, many of the tasks assigned virtually are perceived to be less "valuable" in the eyes of the laborer. In other words, workers tend to feel that non-physical work, no matter how monotonous, is less tasking to perform and more convenient for their needs and so they are willing to accept much lower wage rates for the same hours of work. This labor-value perception has led to the creation of many independent forms of crowdsourcing, which occur in a C2C rather than a B2B structure with the consumer acting as the laborer for another consumer. Websites like fiver.com, elance.com, gigbucks.com, and 99designs.com have become more conventional, particularly for small businesses, startups, and independent entrepreneurs.

Instead of paying the big bucks that corporations shell out for outsourcing to other large companies, these small firms have found cost advantage by outsourcing to "freelance" workers that they can find, employ, and implement completely through digital communications. These outsourcing practices, as mentioned before, are now referred to as crowdsourcing because of the open nature of the labor location, which occurs completely without barriers to entry on the part of the worker. No barriers to entry means exactly as it sounds, anyone can choose to perform a task and there are no limits to how this work is performed or even what it may entail. This opens up a huge expanse of capacity, especially required for smaller businesses, which comprises of an even greater diversification of ability, intelligence, and creativity.

So why hasn't big business figured this out? Well, the truth is that they have, and there are many cases of larger firms that use crowdsourcing successfully. But, like with the explosive use of social media, corporations have shown to be much slower than small firms at adapting to new practices. The lag is primarily a result of the sheer size of the company. Corporations, that normally benefit from their hierarchical structures and somewhat democratic means of decision making, are also limited in their adaptivity. Instead of creating a structure of flexibility, the nature of these companies has largely contributed to a sort of standstill and gradual adjustment to change. In the past, this wasn't necessarily the biggest problem, because changes in tech, labor practices, and the like were also gradual. But now the internet has provided an exponentially faster means of creation. This creation can take infinite forms and oftentimes is done, not by the enormous corporations and monopolies, but actually by individuals. Take Facebook for example: today it is considered to be among the most valuable firms in history, but once upon a time (less than 10 years ago) it was an idea in the mind of an ambitious and highly intelligent college student.

In an age when anyone can create anything and turn the smallest nuances of thought into a revolutionary movement, it is unquestionable that it would benefit any company to reach out to these people-- the thinkers, the idealists, the artists. If anything could jumpstart (or at least support) the economy, it may be crowdsourcing. But this would require businesses to take the time and find ways to utilize the power of crowds then perhaps they can also think of a way to use it for good, and not corporate profit. But considering how crowdsourcing has been powerful thus far, it's not hard to think that it's best done between the crowds and by the crowds. Instead of waiting for the Goldman Sachs and WalMart's of the world to figure this out for the consumers, why not let the people, the 99%, do it for themselves? Remember, anyone can create anything, all they need is an idea.

Both men and women buy more cars. Sure, men are known more for being gear-heads, addicted to horsepower and muscle cars, but women have done their fair share of driving and buying as well.

No vehicle ever designed for just one gender or the other succeeded more than vehicles designed for both genders equally. Women car buyers have been known to exert a force every bit equal to the mower of their male buying counterparts. They might look at different aspects of the same vehicle but they are nonetheless committed to quality as well.

Women are also safety conscious

They want vehicles that get good mileage, have power and performance and are safe to drive, for themselves and for their families. Women prefer amenities which protect rather than project a sense of self. They don't mind having powerful vehicles because it makes them feel better equipped for highway driving or driving in poor weather or hazardous conditions.

According to a 2007 J.D. Power and Associates study women looked for much the same things in a car that men look for and this includes a decent price as well. In addition to this, women want vehicles that are reliable and dependable. They don't want a vehicle which cannot be relied upon to get them and their families or friends to their destination safely. They don't want a vehicle that is likely to break down of leave them stranded. In short, most female drivers want a vehicle that is quality built just like their male counterparts.

Women buyers also want vehicles which are comfortable on the inside. They don't to feel dwarfed by the interior or befuddled by too many things in too many places. They also appreciate exterior styling. The vehicle they buy needs to look good on the inside and the outside and perform as expected at all times.

Women, like men, want their vehicle to scream quality workmanship. If the vehicle is prone to breaking down or is not designed well, that is a sign there is something inherently wrong with the automobile and they do not want it.

Women drivers will choose quality over everything else, every time.

Women drivers also expect their vehicle, whether it is a mini-van, sedan or SUV to get good mileage. As savvy consumers who drive frequently women understand that fuel costs add up over time. They want to know they are getting a good deal on a vehicle that will not end up costing them more in the long run.

Danny and Annie - A Storycorps Animation and Story!

Recently I came across StoryCorps which I found not only to be interesting but very touching as well. StoryCorps is a public service that was created to provide Americans the opportunity from all walks of life to share the stories of their lives.

Americans from all backgrounds will be able to share, record and preserve their stories is the mission behind StoryCorps. What a wonderful idea they've had. They are doing this to try to strengthen a sense of humanity and build connections between people. They are trying to let Americans know that every life matters and that we all have a story to tell. What better way then to preserve it forever for others to appreciate it.

StoryCorps enable us to not only hear peoples amazing stories but to appreciate the magnitude some of these stories actually have. You can preserve childhood memories in a story. You can have a lasting account of a grandparent or parents childhood memory. What could be nicer then to look back on their experiences long after they've left this life?

The founder of this service is Dave Isay and he states "By listening closely to one another, we can help illuminate the true character of this nation reminding us all just how precious each day can be and how truly great it is to be alive." StoryCorps hears stories of everyday people, those are the most interesting. Imagine hearing a story from someone's grandfather that fought in World War II or an account of a person's actual experience that was in New York City on September 11th. It is such a touching way to bring people together and have video account of their "story" if you will. The stories are about everyday families that live their lives with dedication and kindness.

StoryCorps give inspiration and lets people know that they matter and won't be forgotten.

I only wish I had known about this service before my Dad passed away. I would have loved for my children to hear my Dad talk about his life growing up; speak about the business that gave him great joy and of course me.

There is something to be said to having a recording of a loved ones voice forever and ever and to have them talk about their "story" is a priceless gift that would be appreciated for sure. I could hear my Dad now telling all about the time I was too head strong to pick up the cheerios I had dropped on the floor at three years old!

How the StoryCorps process takes place is that you find a location currently they are in NYC, San Francisco, CA and Atlanta, GA. You can call 800-850-4406 to make a reservation. You sit down in their soundproof recording studio with a trained professional that will make you feel comfortable and then you proceed with your "story". I will be sure to make an appointment this up coming fall in New York City.

My personal favorite, is the "Danny and Annie" story. You can find it below by clicking on the link!

Hot Tub Top Side Control Panels

Being able to control your hot tub is very important so that everything works the way you want it to. Ensuring you have the ideal temperature settings and are running efficiently but also conserving energy when possible will make your hot tub experience as enjoyable as possible. Your Top Side Control System is responsible for all of these functions; it communicates your choices to the "brain" or your spa control pack. Depending on what type of spa you have and what options you need to control, there are many different top side panels available. Before purchasing a new top side panel you will want to ensure that it is compatible with your existing spa control pack. Often times you can get a part number off of your existing top side panel simply by pulling it up out of its housing in the spa. There is usually a sticker on the side indicating a part number from the manufacturer, otherwise get the part number for your spa control pack and a simple call to the manufacturer and you can figure out which top side control panel will work for you.

As stated before depending on the type of spa you have there are many different control options available. Some hot tubs will only have one button on the control panel and others will have as many as eight control buttons, here is a little over view of the options available for different topside panels:

Jets:

This button will control water flow through your jets; some larger tubs can have up to three jet buttons that control different sections of jets within the spa. Many also have different speeds that the pump can send water through the jets at. Meaning pushing the button one time will start the jets on a low speed and pushing it a second time will take it to a higher water pressure. This function would also depend on whether the hot tub is running with a 1 or 2 speed pump.

Blower:

The "blower" button will control the hot tub's air blower or bubbler as it is sometimes referred to. The blower introduces air into the water through a series of air injectors. Blowers cause the bubbling effect in the water adding to the ambiance of the spa experience and when used along with the jets creates an even more relaxing experience.

Light:

Depending on what type of spa you have and the lighting options in it, this button can help you to set the mood. The light button is used to control all the light function in the spa, many change colors from red to blue to green, some even have purple and orange. If your hot tub is equipped with a light show function this would also control the different settings within the light show function. With one button controlling all of these options you will have to click through the options one by one to find the one perfect for you and your desired setting.

Temperature Controls:

Most spas that have a temperature control included in the top side panel will have two buttons, a temp up button and a temp down button. Having these controls right at your fingertips makes getting the ideal temperature setting in your spa as easy as the push of a button! This also makes it very easy to turn your spa down a few degrees when it is not being used and then turn it up a few hours before it is going to be used, this will help to conserve a little bit of energy!

Time, Option, or Invert:

If your spa has these function buttons you will want to consult your owner's manual for instructions specific to your spa.

LCD Display:

These large easy to read displays can tell you things like where you temperature is set or if there may be a problem with some for your equipment based on an error reading that may display on the screen. Having these gives you a reliable communication interface to what is going on inside your hot tub.

Messages can appear on you top side control panel when your spa pack needs to tell you something. Depending on your spa and the control panel you have some of these messages may be telling you it is time for a new filter, other maintenance, or that you may have a potential problem with some of your equipment. Please see your owner's manual for a complete list of possible panel messages but here are some examples of common ones that may appear.

GF I or GFCI FAILURE: This is telling you that your hot tub could not trip the GFCI breaker and continued operation may be unsafe, probably time to call your spa technician.

HH or HTR TEMP LMT or OH or OHS or OHH: Any of these messages are telling you the spa has over heated and DO NOT enter the water as it could be at a dangerous temperature. Open the cover and allow the water to cool down, once the water has cooled you should be able to reset by pushing any button. You should also test your sensors and make sure everything is working properly.

Some top side systems also provide settings such as Winter Mode and Summer Mode; these allow you to set the different functions on your spa to run at certain times of day in certain seasons. This can help conserve energy and save money on utility bills.

Again in this article, we have gone over many options for topside control systems, some which may apply to you spa and some that may not. For specific details on your spa and top side control system please consult your owner's manual.
